Stamp and Tie-Dye T-shirt Care

Thank you for repping Trans Lawrence Coalition with your very own stamped apparel! To maximize visibility of your apparel, there are a few finishing steps to follow.

These are care instructions for Print at the Park on May 30, 2025. If you missed out on the event and are interested in a future shirt opportunity, please let us know at translawrencecoalition@gmail.com or on Bluesky, Facebook, or Instagram at Trans Lawrence Coalition.

Stamp Care

  1. Allow your item to air dry for 24-48 hours. the surface will be slightly tacky, so set it somewhere clean where it won’t be disturbed.
  2. Put the item in a dryer on high heat -or- flat iron on high for 4 minutes, moving regularly as to not scorch the fabric.
  3. Machine wash cold and dry as normal with other laundry. your item is now ready to wear as-is or ready for tie dye, patches, or any other customizations you’d like.

Tie-Dye

  1. Allow your item to set undisturbed in a plastic bag for 8 to 24 hours. the longer the dye sets, the more vibrant the resulting colors will be.
  2. Hand rinse the item in cold water until the runoff is entirely clear.
  3. Machine wash warm by itself or with other tie-dyed items of like-color. Dry on low heat, and your tie-dye is finished and ready to wear!
